Ican tell you for sure, there was no earthqake with one single human victim in Eastern Europe neither in 1989 nor any other year in past couple of decades. (I live here.) The whole story is just a big joke. Very big joke. Very very big joke.

Koso, I think it is a great idea - let us pray to God to open the eyes of our beloved brothers in the GB .... and let them ... for example ... sell the printing house to Mormons and to release all Wittnesses from slavery!

Comments For Service Meeting This Week

for those attending, a couple of possible comments for the service meeting.

there is a "2009 yearbook" part where the audience gets to gush over the statistics that they found interesting.

how bout "i was really impressed with the number of memorial partakers last year, with an increase of about 10% over last year and nearly 10,000 partakers, it looks like we will be privileged to have many anointed with us for some time" or.

If it goes this way on..... than one day .... there will be report of 155 000 partakers at the Memorial.

How will WTBS explain that???? Boy, we will need a New light soon!!!

How can I help my wife to get out

i am fading out after 18 years in jw cult (pioneer, ms, elder etc ...).

my wife was born in jw family, very strong family bonds, very loyal to jw.

at home we can talk pretty open, but she is so blindfolded, so loyal, not willing to admitt jw could be totally wrong... is there any chance to help her step by step?

See them everywhere

first of all let me say hi, ex witness of 19/20 years here - left the borg about 6 or 7 years ago now.. just when i think that i am away from them for good, there is some knock on the door, a familiar face, or something in the media which brings it all back.

how i would love to just let it go and live life to the full without remembering what i went through with the witnesses.. just last week it came back to me again, a knock on the door and i was caught totally offguard.

i made my excuses and basically closed the door in their face but after i lamented on how i should have fought my corner, like i used to when i phased myself out.

I understand your feelings, really. I spent with JW last 18 years, past 6 Iam fading out (step by step, becouse of my wife and son). What a waste of time .... few months ago my father in law (JW) have died, because his family refused blood transfusion. The doctors have offered some treatment, but becouse mother in law was not sure if fractions yes or no, or what kind yes ... she better refused any treatment, so he have died... They have asked help from Hospital Liason Committee, but they refused to get involved...

What a terrible cult, but the life is what is ahead of us! Keep this in mind! We wasted some time, but we are free now, and that is the main point!

Thanks very much for your support. I really appreciate it. It helps me a lot to be here with you.

(Sorry for possible mistakes, I am not native English speaking - I write from eastern Europe)

On the beginning I wanted to show my wife straight everything what is wrong in WTBS, but that of course did not work well. So I learn now to be more patient and the main goal is to not lose control over the spiritual influence over my son (7). So we have to read the Bible together, pray together and go to meetings (as little as possible). The more I learn about WTBS, the more it is difficult for me, but I have to show the patience - by the way it took me 10 years to see the facts and other 7 years to get to the decision to fade out.

Thanks a lot for help, it is great to have someone to talk to.
